September 2025 Route Napoleon, Combe Laval & Gorge du Verdon tour. Tour number 3 with Paul and Columbus Motorcycle Tours. Another great trip yet again, with great company, hotels and routes. I was on the Alps & Dolomites Grand Tour in July and can honestly say that I have never had such an awesome experience in my entire life. The mountain roads were amazing and the places we saw and visited were just fabulous.
Paul was our guide and he took us all along twisty, scenic and beautiful roads that if you had arranged the tour yourself you almost certainly wouldn’t have found! The rides were just a joy.
I also ticked off some of the must see biker passes during the trip. Stelvio & Grossglockner among others
Coffee and lunch breaks were ideal as Paul had already scoped out the premises and they never disappointed.
The hotels were just spot on. Some large, some quaint, some modern. I couldn’t fault any.
We had drama too when we were caught in a storm and later found a fallen tree blocked the roadway. It didn’t faze Paul and it became part of the story of our trip. It wasn’t just a biking holiday it was an adventure!
I’m a fan now of Columbus Motorcycle Tours and am looking forward to seeing what else is on offer for 2025! Terry D
