Riding Two-Up?
Pillions are genuinely welcome on Columbus tours — not just tolerated. The pace is relaxed, the routes are carefully chosen to be enjoyable for both rider and passenger, and the hotels are chosen with comfort in mind after a long day in the saddle. Many of our tours have had multiple pillion passengers, so you won’t be the only one.
Two Bikes, Two Riders?
Touring Europe as a couple on separate bikes is one of the great motorcycling experiences — and Columbus takes all the stress out of it. No debating routes over dinner, no worrying about hotel bookings, no getting lost. Everything is taken care of so you can just ride and enjoy it together.
The Personal Touch

As a pillion I was made very welcome and really felt part of the group. The hotels are of a very high standard — comfortable rooms, safe parking for our bike and lovely locations. The daily route downloads are very comprehensive, with suggestions for photo, break and lunch stops. The chosen routes include classic motorcycle roads — Grossglockner, Timmelsjoch, Stelvio to name just a few. Even as a vegetarian I had no problem finding something good to eat at every stop.
Columbus Took All the Stress Out of Norway
Columbus took all the stress out of booking what was an amazing Norway tour. Detailed GPX files and itinerary packs showed daily routes incorporating scenic stops, coffee and cake stops, and all hotel details. Some fab hotel choices including a surprise hotel — no spoilers!
Columbus even arranged a special surprise celebration cake for our anniversary — a lovely personal touch that really summed up the level of care that goes into every tour.
